It was no secret that Vitor Pereira was keen to sign two centre-backs during his first transfer window in charge at Molineux, and he achieved that goal by getting Emmanuel Agbadou and Nasser Djiga through the door.

Djiga put pen to paper on a long-term deal with Wolves after a reported £10m fee was agreed with Red Star Belgrade. He has since gone out on loan to Rangers for the 2025/26 season.
