The 2025 summer transfer window has been an extremely busy one for Wolves, and it didn’t slow down on deadline day.
Vitor Pereira‘s squad has undergone a complete overhaul during the window, with the losses of Matheus Cunha, Rayan Ait-Nouri and Nelson Semedo being felt in the three defeats on the spin at the start of the 2025/26 Premier League season.
Wolves fans will be relieved that their club has reacted to this tricky start to the campaign with some positive moves on deadline day. Tolu Arokodare joined the club for a reported £24m in the final hours of the window, arriving off the back of his career best season at Genk in 2024/25 – scoring 23 goals in all competitions.
The best bit of news for Wolves though was undoubtedly the decision to keep hold of Jorgen Strand Larsen.
Newcastle United’s interest in Strand Larsen, and the striker’s absence from the matchday squad to face Everton, had led to many expecting him to leave the club. However, Jeff Shi and co. stood firm, telling Strand Larsen he was not leaving Wolves on deadline day.
Here’s every deal Wolves completed on deadline day.
Wolves signings on transfer deadline day
As mentioned, Wolves were able to get a much-needed striker through the door at Molineux by acquiring Arokodare from Genk.
The club had also been heavily linked with a number of midfielders including Josh Brownhill and Nicolas Raskin heading into deadline day but neither deal got over the line. Wolves will still be able to sign Brownhill after the window shuts however as he’s currently a free agent.

Every Wolves departure in the summer transfer window
A whopping 14 players left Wolves before deadline day as part of Pereira’s mass overhaul of the Wolves squad.
While a number of players like Craig Dawson and Joe Hodge, who have rarely if ever featured since Pereira took charge, will not be missed too much, the sales of Cunha and Ait-Nouri, as well as the free agent departure of Semedo, have certainly hurt Wolves this summer.
Cunha, in particular, who scored 15 Premier League goals last season, has been missed in the early weeks of 2025/26, with Wolves currently missing a spark in the final third.
